I am Onguma The Fort. I am a lavish wildlife sanctuary carefully placed in the heart of the privately owned Onguma Game Reserve. Come sit front row to the incredible ever-changing display of nature. Lions roar, hyenas laugh and warthogs wallow in the mud. Right beyond my main fort, herds of wildebeest, impalas and springbok come to drink from the scenic waterhole before disappearing back out into the vast savannah. By day venture out on a game drive into Etosha National Park, lounge poolside in the midday sun and watch the diverse array of desert-adapted animals slowly pass in front of your private patio. Once the sun falls off the earth and the sky slowly turns to black, the most brilliant orchestra of stars trickle into view. Just like the meaning of my name, I am a place you’ll never want to leave.
