Highlights & Attractions at Camp Kipwe
Guided Nature Drive: Departs usually at 6:30am and lasts around 4 – 6 hours. Explore the surrounding area of Twyfelfontein Conservation, while tracking desert-adapted animals such as the desert elephant and black rhino. Light snacks and drinks are included. Twyfelfontein, Burnt Mountain and Organ Pipes Excursion: Departs usually at 3:00pm and lasts around 2 hours. Visit the famous UNESCO Wolrd Heritage Site of Twyfeltontein and explore the rock engravings along with the Burnt Mountain and Organ Pipes. Self-Guided Nature Walks: Feel free to follow the short walking trails around the camp. You will find information displaying the names of different plants and trees. Ask reception if you prefer to explore the surroundings with a guide. Optional activities are available in the area for guests to visit such as the Living Damara Museum.
