I am Pelican Point Lodge. I am a remote 5-star outpost located on the very tip of the 22km-long Pelican Point Peninsula. Boasting 360º views over the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Walvis Bay Lagoon to the east, I am the only one of my kind on the Skeleton Coast. Your only neighbors for miles are a few resident black-backed jackals and the vocal cape fur seals, which you will find lingering on the shore close to the foot of the lighthouse. Fall asleep to the sound of the crashing waves, feel the ocean breeze as you walk along the shore and watch the sun disappears behind the horizon, leaving flamboyant colors across the sky.

No pets allowed. Non-smoking rooms. Pelican Point Peninsula is only accessible via a 4x4 vehicle or by boat. For self-drive guests, the pick-up point is at the PBH parking lot with pick up times of 14:00 & 17:00. Pick-up at Walvis Bay Airport and Swakopmund Airport are subject to an additional fee.

You will find out quickly how curious these little sea creatures are and how graceful they swim. Sandwich Harbor: Amid the Dorob National Park, colossal sand dunes dive straight down into the cerulean sea. Make sure to arrange a tour prior to arrival as it is a popular activity. Breakfast on the beach: Enjoy a lavish breakfast spread right on the beach.  Fatbiking: These bikes can be a fun alternative to walking along the 20km long peninsula. Ask the reception for availability. We highly recommend taking an afternoon or morning to stroll on the beach. You never know what you might find.
