ABOUT ME
I am Under Canvas Zion. I am an extraordinary glamping resort located in the beautiful outskirts of Zion National Park. My camp is only minutes away from the west entrance, a road less traveled which allows for my site to be nothing less than peaceful. Wake up to the gentle tones of sunrise paired with a delectable breakfast from the Embers onsite restaurant. After a day of exploring come back to bask in the warm hues of sunset, make s’mores into the night and fall asleep right beneath the Milky Way. There is no better place to enhance your experience while exploring the beauty of Zion. The views from your tent are only a little taste of what awaits you when adventuring into the red rocks of Zion National Park.
WHAT TO DO IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD
I offer everything from canyoneering, white water rafting to horseback riding and helicopter rides just come and talk to one of my lovely concierges or check out my website for more details. If you want to be spontaneous, every tent provides a binder where you can read more about the activities offered onsite.
Due to my convenient location, all the famous hikes in the park such as The Narrows, Angel’s Landing and the East Rim Trail to Observation Point are easy to reach.
My property is one of the few Under Canvas locations that has an outstanding restaurant onsite so there is no need to venture out for breakfast or dinner. However if you feel adventurous you can drive to La Verkin and get a pizza at the Dixie Pizza Wagon or get a delicious sandwich or frappe from River Rock Roasting.
SHARED SECRETS
There is a road that leads up to the back of the property. If you are an early riser get to the top before the sun peaks above the horizon to watch the sunrise slowly light up the whole camp.
Watch out for rattlesnakes. They keep to themselves for the most part but be vigilant during the early morning as well as late afternoon when they are most active.
There is a picture perfect waterfall hike at the Kanarra Creek Canyon, only an hour drive from the property (note that this is outside of the national park). The hike is located just east of the town of Kanarraville and is only 3.5 miles round trip. This place is known as the mini narrows, but views are just as stunning!
$$$$
Tents start at $189 USD. This camp is open from March – November.
The price can vary depending on the season.
