ABOUT ME
I am The Siam Hotel. I am an Art Deco urban botanical dream. Set amongst the backdrop of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, I pride myself for my elegant, jazzy vibes. My black and white color scheme presents the perfect canvas to showcase an astonishing collection of antiques and collectibles. Gramophones, retro cinema seats & vintage travel trunks will transport you back to the days of the 20s and 30s.
WHAT TO DO IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD
Bangkok offers a variety of activities such as visits to traditional temples, shopping and an active nightlife. However; if you prefer a relaxing day in I can offer you anything from Thai cooking classes, yoga, a spa day & even the chance to a Sak Yant tattoo, a sacred Thai tradition.
Thailand is very famous for Muay Thai Boxing, but you don’t have to search very hard to find it, as I have a boxing ring on site.
Eating is my forte. My all-day diner serves divine international cuisine and might just make you feel like spending a night in Gatsby’s favorite bar when ordering a delicious Mai Thai. Here at Deco Bar, the jazz age never ends. If it is Thai food that you are craving, look no further, Chon Thai is the go to place for local dishes and breathtaking views to the river.
Join my sunset river cruise. Get out onto the Chao Phraya as the sun fades and the city of Bangkok starts to light up in the background.
SHARED SECRETS
Don’t miss out on the romantic river views that are best enjoyed from an intimate window seat at the Chon Thai restaurant. If you don’t get on my sunset river cruise, make sure to get here instead, you won’t regret it.
The Siam Hotel was created by the actor and Thai musician Krissada Sukosol Clapp in collaboration with Architect Bill Bensley to be one of the first Art Deco inspired hotels in Bangkok.
