I am Riad Anata tucked in the quiet back alleys of Fez. My staff will make sure that you have everything you need. Let’s start with what’s your favorite color? I have four floors with five color themed rooms — white, orange, red, green & azure. From my rooftop terrace you can get a little sneak peak of the rooftops of Fez while feasting on a delectable meal from our amazing in-house chef Samira.

I will provide you with a little booklet that will tell you all the places to see and where to dine once you arrive at the room, but here are some of my favorites.

Where to dine — Ruined GardenFez CaféMaison Moi Anan (delicious Thai)
Sites to see — Palais Royal (the most beautiful Moroccan door in the world), Bab Boujloud (The Blue Gate), Lookout Point (see the view of the whole city)

Don’t feel like hanging out at the plunge pool all day, I can gladly provide a tour guide or suggest other fun activities to do here in Fez.

Fez is famous for its tanneries. Within the heart of the medina there are three ancient leather tanneries, the largest and oldest being the Chouara Tannery, which is almost a thousand years old. Though it is a bit heartbreaking and the smell is very overwhelming, it is an incredible site to see.

If you like the authentic taste of Riad Anata, Samira also offers cooking classes to anyone and everyone.

Rooms start at $115 USD.

Expect great hospitality from an all star staff. Expect to be spoiled by the delicious home cooked meals from Samira. She will broaden your Moroccan cuisine knowledge and treat your taste buds to a real divine meal. Expect to pay a little more for the food and also the tea is not on the house but why not spoil your self a little. You are on holiday.
