About Me
I am Hôtel des Grands Boulevards. Located minutes from the Grands Boulevards subway station, I cannot get any more central. The Palais Garnier, Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe to the east; the Louvre, Ponts des Arts and Le Palais Royal to the south; and, of course, excellent cuisine in every direction. Each of my 50 rooms is adorned with gentle greens and pastel pinks along with rich fabrics, thick curtains, and high ceilings. Skelton keys and 60s inspired bathrooms complemented by old-style canopy beds. Prepare to have your senses swoon by my classic interiors and let my impeccable hospitality be the highlight of your Parisian experience.
What to do at Hotel des Grands Boulevards
Paris is one of the most visited cities in the world and it is not just because of the cuisine! The wide variety of historical sites, majestic museums, and romantic bridges are just a few of the marvels you will stumble upon while roaming the streets of Paris. Here are some favorites along with how far they are by foot from Hotel des Grands Boulevards!
- Louvre Museum — 18 minutes (make sure to get tickets in advance to avoid the long lines)
- Eiffel Tower — 1 hour (if you get there after dark between 7 pm & 1 am, you will see the famous twinkle of the tower)
- Notre Dame de Paris — 32 minutes
- Arc de Triomphe — 50 minutes
- Pont Alexandre III — 36 minutes (if you are looking for the most incredible sunsets with the Eiffel Tower in view, go here)
Looking for some other dining options close by? Café le Brebant is a cute Parisian brasserie located just across the street from the Hotel Grands Boulevards. It has a very unique interior and a chic ambiance; my personal favorite is the outdoor seating area which allows for excellent people watching while enjoying some delicious French cuisine. Choose between breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Shared Secrets
The upbeat Italian restaurant inside of Hotel des Grands Boulevards by Giovanni Passerini offers breakfast (7 am – 10:30 am), lunch (12 pm – 2 pm) and dinner (7:30 pm – 10:30 pm). Located on the ground floor in the courtyard, the big overhead glass windows allow the light to bring out the stunning colors of the rose covered velvet couches and the vintage-inspired patterns on the surrounding carpets. The restaurant is open to the public.
The Shell and the Shed are the two bars within the hotel. The drinks served come courtesy of the Experimental Cocktail Club, which was founded in 2007 with one mission – to serve the best wines and cocktails to the Parisians. The Shell with its inviting ambiance, powdered rose and dark red velvet covered seats resides on the ground floor. The Shed, on the other hand, is perched on the rooftop and allows for an intimate and laid-back lounge within the bustling city of Paris.
Just in case Hotel des Grands Boulevards is completely booked, Henrietta Hotel and Hotel Grand Pigalle might be two other Parisian Hotels worth checking into when in Paris.
The Junior Suites at Grand Boulevard Hotel are pretty big for the typical Parisian hotels (32sqm).
Baby cots are free and can be added to certain room types.
